SailAhead’s Classic Yacht Racing program brings veterans and volunteer sailors together for weekly evenings of racing and camaraderie on the waters of Long Island.
Hosted in partnership with the Stirling Harbor Foundation, the program gives participants the opportunity to crew aboard classic racing sailboats, learn the fundamentals of teamwork and seamanship, and become part of a growing maritime community.
Whether someone is an experienced sailor or stepping onto a racing boat for the first time, the spirit remains the same: challenge, trust, adventure, and time well spent on the water.
