This event is held to honor LCpl Michael James Blanco, a USMC who took his own life at the young age of 19. The Blanco family comes each year to speak on behalf of their brother, son, and uncle. Veterans who are going through struggles similar to the one Michael faced are invited and shown the communal dedication to honoring and healing our struggling veterans.
