During the Knights of Columbus Patriotic Night event, Richard Ronde - The Grand Knight of Council #6893 - presented brothers Kilian and Sean Duclay a Certificate of Appreciation for their work in helping our country's greatest asset; our Armed Forces Veterans.
This was an opportunity to present SailAhead, spread PTSD awareness and to talk about our 219 Mates.
The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic fraternal service organization. Founded by Father Michael J. McGivney in New Haven, Connecticut, in 1882, it was named in honor of the mariner Christopher Columbus. Originally serving as a mutual benefit society to low-income immigrant Catholics, it developed into a fraternal benefit society dedicated to providing charitable services, promoting Catholic education and Catholic public policy positions, and actively defending Catholicism in various nations.
These Certificates of Appreciation celebrate the healing work we have accomplished thus far. SailAhead is proud to have been awarded by the Knights of Columbus.
A Special Thank You to Bob Slingo for recommending and supporting SailAhead in this process.
Thank you Father Thomas A. Judge Council 6893 for your strong and enthusiastic support!
